A poll of 11,440 people undertaken by MoneySavingExpert in January 2021 has revealed that DPD Local was ranked as the best parcel delivery firm in the UK. It is worth pointing out that there sister company – DPD finished in second place. In third place was Amazon Logistics. Well done to those concerned.

People were asked to give a rating of Great, OK or Poor.

1. DPD Local were rated Great by 71% of people (56% in 2020), rated OK by 20% of people (28% in 2020) and rated Poor by 10% of people (16% in 2020).

2. DPD were rated Great by 68% of people, rated OK by 24% of people (26% in 2020) and rated Poor by 8% of people (11% in 2020).

3. Amazon Logistics were rated Great by 61% of people (52% in 2020), rated OK by 34% of people (39% in 2020) and rated Poor by 6% of people (10% in 2020)

Royal Mail was in 4th place with 49% of people giving it a Great rating (55% in 2020), 36% of people giving it an OK rating (36% in 2020) and 15% giving it a Poor rating (9% in 2020).

DHL finished in 5th place with 43% of people giving it a Great rating (41% in 2020), 46% of people giving it an OK rating (46% in 2020) and 11% giving it a Poor rating (13% in 2020).

FedEx UK finished in 7th place with 40% of people giving it a Great rating (41% in 2020), 44% of people giving it an OK rating (45% in 2020) and 16% giving it a Poor rating (15% in 2020).

UPS was in 8th position with 42% of people giving it a Great rating (42% in 2020), 39% of people giving it an OK rating (42% in 2020) and 18% giving it a Poor rating (16% in 2020).

TNT ended up in 13th place with 23% giving it a Great rating (23% in 2020), 52% of people giving it an OK rating (55% in 2020) and 25% of people giving it a Poor rating (22% in 2020).

Yodel finished second from bottom in 16th place with 23% of people giving it a Great rating (21% in 2020), 36% of people giving it an OK rating (32% in 2020) and 41% of people giving it a Poor rating (46% in 2020).

CitySprint finished in last place (17th) with 11% of people giving it a Great rating (13% in 2020), 58% of people giving it an OK rating (51% in 2020) and 31% of people giving it a Poor rating (35% in 2020).
